


So we should go back to the bad old days of destroying children's psyches by calling them "losers" if they dare to not win in a game? That mentality makes the perfect case for parenting licenses.LOL you think awarding children for every non-achievement is good for their mental/psychological health? Well, you're allowed to think that, if you want, but don't act like you KNOW what's best.
I'm with Garotte14 on this one. The self-esteem movement was a tremendous failure, the way I see it; it breeds complacency and self-entitlement.
I'm of the belief that people should either accept their limits, or shatter them. You don't pretend they don't exist. Or do you think denial is healthy?
