I see more issues with Balanced Damage

Balanced damage is when in a fair situation the damage of the classes isn't horribly skewed. As such, Black Mage are supposed to be the kings of AoE, with Bard being an odd one. Considering that Summoner, in most cases, is top DPS in most raid encounters and quite a few non-raid ones, it's only fair that they don't top in all areas. Monk and Dragoon have no such potential to AoE as well as Summoner certainly not even close to Black Mage and, in some cases, White Mages.

I main a Summoner myself, and personally speaking I am not to bothered by how the egi look. I am much more interested in making the future egi and Ifirt more useable in battle, rather then what they look like. Could they be better? Perhaps, but its not something that I think is a big deal it the way of things.

Well according to your history lesson, Rydia spells are formulated from three different jobs, and most of Summoner's current skills are from Black Mage. Thanks for the reference.

If they continue to give Arcanist support spells, to make up for the shared skillset, I#m sure we'll see more arcane buffs for the SMN in the future such as Bubble (FF12) or something similar.

As for the Egi size, I think they could be as big as the bosses we fight on the respective job trial (those have just the right size IMO).
Reskinning would (for me) make up for their size though, they just look terrible, sry.

Funny though, with so many active SMN ranting threads and nerfs, the devs must be hating this class xD.

Unless you have seen him/her posting the same complaint about other Jobs, you have no right to assume that. ;p

It is an actual job identity issue that shouldn't be overlooked.
