An easy way to fix this would just make it work similar to Dark Poeta in Aion. Your time and amount cleared are pooled into a point system that gives you a grade for the dungeon run, which modifies the quality of gear that drops.
An easy way to fix this would just make it work similar to Dark Poeta in Aion. Your time and amount cleared are pooled into a point system that gives you a grade for the dungeon run, which modifies the quality of gear that drops.
The way FFXIV does it is fine, because there are tiers to the dungeon already. There is the first chest and second one both of which are so easy to reach. Then there is the third chest which is slightly harder to get to. Then there is the darkslave ogre which is hard to defeat. Then there is the final boss.
So the loot is already set up in a graded system.
The problem is some of the best gear drops in the first three chests anyway. Bladedancer boots shouldn't drop by any other mob than the final boss, in my professional opinion. Same with some of the other items.
