    Used to be best way to do leves was to fail them

    Now best way to do the dungeon is to not fight and run past everything. Awsome.

    I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

    My idea of best and these min/max, "end justifies the means" players' ideas of best (regardless of how boring their "best" means is) are different things.

    I haven't done it that way yet but I recently got to Ogre at 38 min mark and we killed all mobs in the way. If you need more than 40 min to clear the rest of the dungeon then I'm not sure about dungeons. The only problem for me is getting the group coordinated enough to defeat the Ogre, so maybe I shouldn't talk.

    Still its sad when you can get to ogre in about 15 minutes avoiding the content and 22 minutes doing the content, people who avoid the content come out better.

    I think the mobs give you Skill Points... depends on the group of people you run with, if nobody needed SP I can see your point....

    Oh I get it this is a dungeon to level in that just happens to have a couple bosses. This isnt supposed to be content for 50s, just the 2 bosses are in place for the 50s the rest is supposed to be avoided if noone needs Sp. I guess I thought the content was being created to fight by everyone that enters, silly me.

    Not quite the same thing.

    Besides people are focused on killing the bosses now, but there are also treasure chests it is worth it to fight to. Also you don't run past "everything" it is quite common in instances/dungeons for people to train their way through trash however, Yoshi wants to make the game normal well that is normal.

    training through 80% of the mobs to get to the bosses in the first day or 2 of a dungeons release isnt normal by any games standard that I know of. Give me 3 examples of when this normal situation occured in a popular MMO. Remember im talking 24-48 hours of release of the current "end game" content.

    .... unless you count:

    Vanguard: APW (great dungeon)
    EQ2 just about every other raid
    FFXI (lol really?)
    EQ1: Plane of Fear where there was really no other way to do it, Plane of Hate (before and after revamps), Chardok, in GoD expansion, and loads of other training through various zones to shorten raid times
    WoW: trash there, which might be the only MMO you are familiar (since you asked such a silly question), dies so quick and is so mind numbingly simple to zombie mode I know maybe some like you don't bother but I sure did it quite a bit.
    LotRO: Never bothered raiding
    Aion: lol again

    That was exhausting to think of 3 whole examples!

    The only way you can prevent players from doing this is:

    1. Mobs never leash but even then if you look at the examples above (XI and EQ1) that didn't stop people.
    2. You leave no safe place whatsoever to regroup.
    3. You have no time limit, the dungeon itself is pitifully short, the mobs are easy as pie, and generally no one cares so they just kill all the stuff they don't particularly want drops from anyways.

    All three of those would cause so much more rage from players than your pitiful complaint about Darkhold that you should just give up your argument now.

    I liked that part. I asked a question about people avoiding 80% of mobs and you assume the only MMO ive ever played is wow. classic vidoe game forum "dig" I loved it.
