Final Fantasy V
Final Fantasy VI (brackets is PS release)

This is how you construct an argument. With evidence, not opinions. So SE stuck to their guns (to some degree) to appeal to original players while hitting people who would be confused by the -ra, -ga suffixes. 2 birds, 1 stone. Unless you're a newer player, which you seem to allude to being and only care about those aforementioned naming conventions.

No. The spectrum doesn't go that high.

I know the statement they did in te beta. We in german translation got after some discussions our -ra and -ga spell names :P

Also we got Vita and so on instead of Cure :P

Just goes to show you how high up on the "easy to confuse" list we English speakers rank lol joking aside, at least you all got it fixed for German speakers. Although not game breaking in even the least sense of the word, it would have been nice to see them as we've grown accustomed to seeing them.

can always repost it and u know happans when some fool is civil its pushed to side as if nothing at the least they can do is add a option in the char settings to choice which one we use the suffix or numb

Which is funny because the Japanese and German versions use -ra -ga, French using something weird and English being the only ones who use II, III.

Yeah, so when you think about it, the whole "prevent stress" and "prevent confusion" excuses we get are ....basically to be "Considerate" to the english player base.
