To be honest, I for one would be really ready to accept as they re if they were not looking like that they got draw by a 3 years old kid, different ff games = different summons looks but it doesn't mean to accept those... messed and ugly/weird/diseased pixels "following-derping" us in Eorzea.

It's very obvious that those egis got designed in like a couple of hours and in a rush before 2.0 release (feeling like they forgot to create egis when they worked on carbuncle or idk).

Anyway, this got discussed many times in every languages by thousands of other people for the last 12 months, the dev team is well aware of the mess, they will just do better next time.

They look appropriate for what they are - tiny Aetheric shards of an incredibly powerful Demi-God.
I do not want lazy Mini-Me versions of these Gods everywhere.

I only think that the Egi's themselves could use a re-design...The current ones are just really...really bad.
