This is how you end up in a situation where people gathered orbs prematurely and the raid wipes since the tanks couldn't buff. I've seen it happen dozens of times even when call outs were happening. This situation requires an excellent group of 8 players who all have near perfect raid and situational awareness. You won't get this in most pugs. In an ideal world sure, but the real world is less than ideal.

so long as people wait for the tank swap or until both tanks have surge protection (looking at the party list is hard) the only time a wipe may happen is at add phase. tho i do agree with having a group of people who have good situational awareness, except not to the level of perfect raid.

In the end I don't think it matters who calls out what, or whose responsibility it was to do XYZ, it seems to me that no one communicated. Things were going wrong, no one talked about it, or tried to fix it. No one said 'how can we do this better' or 'is there a way we can make this better' or 'can someone call out this'. You are correct, rage quitting is not the answer, but neither is ignoring the problem and allowing fails to continuously happen without offering advice or looking into the issue and improvements as a group.

You even admitted that another member offered TS to improve communication. But you said nothing, figuring if it wasn't a personal invite to you specifically you were not needed on. But you never asked if you were needed, or told them that you could not come on TS, regardless.

As I said, everything else aside, the over all issue I see is lack of communication from all sides. Of course nothing improved, it doesn't seem like anyone tried for the most part. I give props to the one person who mentioned TS though, at least they tired to help the issues in some way, even if ultimately it still failed. So I say yes, it's not any one persons fault. I feel it was the whole parties fault for not saying what was needed and discussing who should do what role within the party.

My biggest gripe honestly, and that was the reason of the rant in the beginning, is that I was kicked without having the chance to explain stuff.

While I stand that the majority seemed to agree with me, it was interesting to have people bring out other points of views. The insults or name-callings (such as Orlandeau's "OP, you suck" or stating that I'm lazy) still weren't necessary, but ultimately, I got what I was looking for : an answer to how to help improve the odds. Which is what Tiggy, among others, did.

Whether or not I agree with everything that was said is not important. I'll have to do some testing out first. ^^

I will agree with that, the fact that it seems the whole party was at fault but they placed the blame on you was not fair. Honestly it doesn't seem like that party was functioning very well, regardless, and probably should have looked into speaking about issues or disbanded. The fault wasn't just yours.

I don't disagree that they're idiots, but it's kinda meh to me that you didn't make sure and speak up about not getting on TS and there was confusion. If you're going to call VOIP a crutch you need to atleast communicate in game.

Like it or not, I still stand by what I called you. Means were provided to make things easier and yet you refuse to use it simply because you were not told to do so. Don't get me wrong, I understand that you couldn't get on TS because people were sleeping, and that they were wrong to kick you out because of that. The problem is, you lacked the initiative to provide a way to make things easier, not just for yourself, but for the 7 other people who are dedicating their time to clear whatever it is that you're trying to clear.

Orlandeu, refusing to do something does not equal not doing anything. And I'm tired of the "initiative" part. I already said with Tiggy I don't agree on that part, I sure won't agree with you either on it.
