I mean exactly the same item but just add the HQ mark on the icon, ofcoz, then ppl can have both NQ and HQ..
I guess it would not be a good idea otherwise they should have using this approach... but honestly I am not sure why not. ^^;

Well, I think it'd be nice if the people who actually went to the fanfest had a nice in-game item that showed we'd been. I went for years missing out on the XI ones because they were never convienient, always wanting the items but understanding the reason for their exclusivity. Granted I'm still gonna go down London with my friends and have a great weekend regardless... but I'm not gonna lie, the exclusive item was a bit of a perk that's just kinda lost its appeal now. Hopefully the physical goodies are up-to scratch.

Meh. I don't even know what to think, to be honest. First thing that came to my mind when I saw the post was: "so if you can't pay to actually attend the event itself, you could still pay for the HD live stream". Euhm. Right.
The Moogle Attire? I dunno. Not sure how often and how many people will even be using that for glamour. Personally, I'd rather just be able to travel and be there in person - don't even care much for the in-game bonus item.

That said, yeah, I can see why this is making OP angry. If an exclusive item is promised, if they want to make an item exclusive - they don't go handing it out to everyone. But on that note: should've seen something like this coming, actually. Just think of the CE in-game bonuses and how anyone can upgrade to a digital CE now to get those same items...

It was never once stated to be an exclusive item. Just that you voided your right to claim it if you didn't attend the event. hth.

People already complain enough just because the 1.0 Goobbue looks like the 2.0 Laurel Goobbue. People even complained because they thought the Company Chocobo somehow devalued their Legacy Chocobo.

Some people just pride themselves on having shit that no one else really cares about and that they honestly don't care about either except that the thought that someone else might not have it strokes their ego. I'm willing to bet that the majority of the people who even get the suit, including the OP and the others complaining, aren't even going to use it for anything outside of showing it off for 10 minutes before it goes right into storage.

So if someone buys a ticket to the fest and cant make it you think its ok for them to not get a moogle attire item? However, someone else can buy the livestream, not watch it, and go right on laughing at the other guy.

Scalpers, fool. If you buy a ticket, get a code for an in-game item for those specifically going to the fest, and you sell the ticket to someone else who expects the reward and is screwed out of it, well, there you go.

And reporting excessively for people who disagree in a way you don't like, that's harassment. Stop being belligerent yourself before you start throwing tantrums at other people.
