Primal Dungeon bosses do have the potential to have other uses ( an actual Primal fight) they could potential be made that way in the expansion.
The problem with personal housing is the price, they have been released with a price that is higher than the FC houses 2 moths after their release, of course, the influx of gil is higher as well, personal houses are way cheaper than the FC ones were, the price is the same but the influx of gil have changed, that's what the player-base fails to understand, we should blame both, Yoshida for not using the correct words, and the players for nor being correctly informed, it was clear that the personal houses would be located in the same wards the FC ones are, and with the amount of gil we can earn now doing just our routines the price would't change. This is exactly what happened with Personal Housing. The only problem with this as Yoshi-P is that he has to release *something* into the information stream to keep players interested. Otherwise you'll start to see people complain that there's no information being released (pretty much all of FFXI).
Also
This is out of place, it's not only offensive but also a lie, FFXI players are used to no see new updates or info for a year+, that's how ffxi updates worked.
I really don't understand why people care about personal/FC housing. Every plot on my server has been sold and my FC got a house a few weeks after they were released. They are nice to have and a cool place to hangout instead of being at Toll or Limsa, but no one actually does anything in the housing wards. There is so little you can do that is interactive in relation to housing that is basically a doll house. On that note, if you can't afford to buy a house than you shouldn't be dreaming about wasting your money on decorations.

I don't understand how it is the communitys fault that "Dagger and gun class sooner than you think" just before E3 turns into only dagger class with one job for 2.4 which quite frankly is not at all sooner than many thought. SE are masters of announcing announcements which just builds unnecessary hype and it breeds dissapointment for no reason, especially when it does not even come close to what the initial announcement would suggest is within reason.
I think they never said that gunner will come with ninja, it was all the community guessing.I don't understand how it is the communitys fault that "Dagger and gun class sooner than you think" just before E3 turns into only dagger class with one job for 2.4 which quite frankly is not at all sooner than many thought. They said that a new class will come, community said Gunner ( because guns guild is the only one remaining and not available ) then they said it was ninja and the community thought gunner and ninja.
We only get 1 new dungeon?
Wow.
I'd like more NEW dungeons than tweaking dungeons we've already have.
I'm just being picky and say I would like to see more new dungeons than tweaking
old ones. Tam Tara barely did anything different at all, in the way of looks. It felt like
Tam Tara NM and I did it once and never again lol. I've done enough Tam Tara period.
Not to mention 4 man parties are sadly easy and barely have replay value.
[Hullbreaker is probably the best 4man. It's crazy fun and gorgeous!]
Well hopefully there a lot more neat things to come, it's just a preview so I won't jump
to say it's the "worst" yet. Might get more light in a week or two. It's ok for now, SE killed my hype
for any thing anymore after their blatant lies from Personal Housing. Lying's bad mkay.

bout the housing, the trouble is more about what they can or can't do. they have try to please a part of the community saying that they don't want intanced stuff. but at the end the residential ward are extremely heavy on them server.what trouble me is when i read yoshida say that upgrade the server for better one will be the last option they will use...
we are into a mmorpg, where the server is more important than anything and they think it's better to use the maximum of the server and push it into him limit before upgrade it. i dunno any mmorpg that did that, it's dangerous on too many way. since they have trouble of place on the server the game did encounter numerous limitation. instead to give the dev team more freedom for them creation he think it's better to not change the server that was already not strong enough for the actual popultion.
we all know that Yoshida himself did admit right after the release last years that they didn't expect the succes of the game. right now the game is on the verge to loose people because they don't want to accept to get the tool strong enough for the actual population of the game. worst they continue to release content that are not adapted at the population per server (hunt/housing). i will not talk of them choice for the raid difficulty or some of the really really bad choice about the progression in the game.
i think yoshida and it team need to stop to look to the number of them statistic but the reality. they need a Public Test Server for understand how work the player from all the world, not only japanese! if they don't want to understand us, why release the game in the whole world? i can understand that they want to please the japanese public but it's time to please the rest of the world.
ps: we only get one new dungeon per patch, but we have too 2 hm version that are different of the normal version
Does anyone else see a Re-skinned FFXI Scorpion? XD
Not enough Facepalms
They lied about it. Said one thing, did another and didn't try to correct themselves. It wasn't released as it was suppose to be originally stated, it was a lazy work around where they just slapped personal housing with FC housing and called it a day. The thing starts, where if you lie to your consumer, who's to say they won't do it again? So now everyone just expects the worse possible outcome, because that's what housing became.
What did they lie about, exactly? I didn't really follow housing myself but from what I understand、They lied about it. Said one thing, did another and didn't try to correct themselves. The thing starts, where if you lie to your consumer, who's to say they won't do it again? So now everyone just expects the worse possible outcome, because that's what housing became.
”It'll be cheaper than FC housing” - true, cheaper than launch FC housing compared to the amount of gil people had
”850k won't be enough” - true, wasn't even close to enough
”more affordable than FC housing” - true, more people have gil now over the 10s of millions
I guess omission of some background facts is akin to lying.
Help me understand this issue more fully, please.
