I like them just the way they are. I want to play a Final Fantasy game, not "Realism 101".

Yeah that's fine and dandy and all but the thing is, those mob models weren't made to be that big and when you have djiggas and puks jumping excessively high, it's not that fun. PLUS have you used the new targeting system? there is almost NO need for this new mob size.

I personally LOVE it. It makes mobs more intimidating.

Notice that most people are complaining about it are those that are lalafells? Something to think about! (Just playing)

But really, I like how the mobs would tower over the lalafell, it just shows their smallness, and would make it more fun to see lalefell destroying monsters that are 5 times their size. So much for picking on stuff their own size yeah?

For the most part I enjoy the change. A lot of them really needed to be enlarged and become a bit more intimidating or at least more personal looking; however... a select few mobs could use a bit of a 'toning' down on their size. I actually like the toads new size as it makes getting aggroed by one that much more exciting and intimidating... but for god sake change the cactuars and skeletons back to their old size. Cactuars should always be small unless they are jumbo cactuar in which case that should be a boss . And unless these new skeles are from aliens... they should be the same size as the regular players.

I'm glad they changed it. I play an Elezen, and sometimes it was hard to see the smaller mobs like spriggans and marmots when I was walking around. This makes them much easier to target with a mouse as well, and to see which I'm attacking when using my controller or tab.

More importantly though, it feels just a bit more epic. FFXIV desperately needs more excitement with it, and struggling against a foot tall marmot makes me feel really pathetic. This way it looks like the mobs actually can put up the fight they're giving you.

I'm still a beginner and lurking around Ulda.
Squirrel spriggs and bugs size are good now. It makes them better.
I saw so lizard ram and their size were fine also.

Isn't that why they added the new targeting system? So you can change to enemies and such?

And on another note, if they can 'look' like they can actually put up a fight, why don't lala's look like they can too?

There is a need for this mob size. It's called FUN! Who the heck wants to go around kicking squirrels (marmots) and stomping on tiny ladybugs? Especially when these creatures in "real life" wouldn't be more than a one-hit nuisance to be swatted away while looking for REAL monsters. I want Final Fantasy, I don't want cute and fuzzy bunnies like all those F2P Korean anime-wannabe mmos.

Maybe which monsters need to be what size needs a little work, but i LIKE having monsters that are a bit intimidating, this helps.
