I personally love most of the mob size adjustments. I love marmots now. What I don't like is that skeletons were made bigger. .... Why would a skeleton be made bigger?

The MOB size is OK to me. I like it !
I wholeheartedly agree! It's been making me feel like all the player characters have been shrunk down. Larger enemy models doesn't equate to more ferocious-looking monsters, S-E!1.16 has really destroyed my sense of proportion in this game.. Mobs are huge just for the sake of being huge now, you can tell some weren't designed to be as large as they now are.. LS flags are for some reason gigantic, along with the Rank/Level Up animations. Everything is out of proportion and thus just looks silly. These sorts of things will only make it easier for me to leave this game - maybe I should be thankful?
They need to be a little more selective with how they're picking monsters to increase in size. Marmots and smaller creatures absolutely, but cactuars don't need to be 5-feet fall, nor do puks and gnats. 6-foot dodos are pretty fantastic, though
I do like the larger level-up animations though. I'd like it if they brought back the fanfare for personal level-ups as well.
I agree with the mob size. For some Mobs it's okay. I like the new size of the Puks and the Plant-Type-Mobs. But even those i wouldn't have made THIS big. I also don't like the new size of the squirrels. I always imagine such a squirrel on a tree and i think the size of the mobs just dosn't fit in anymore with the size of the surroundings.
Just yesterday, when i thought about it, i had to think of the movie Avatar. Everything on this planet is big. The animals are, but the trees and plants are to, and so are the Na'vi. And if a human steps in, you just see how they don't fit in this world, as small as they're.
Now in FFXIV, the mob size inscreased. But the size of the surroundings, like flowers and trees, didn't. And now i've this feeling the world dosn't fit anymore. It just feels out of place now. Those Mobs, with their size, would totally just trample everything in their way down with their size and weight now.
Or ist it just me who feels like that? I mean, on earth... there was also a time where the animals were bigger then part of the surroundings. I just say: Dinosaurs! But if i look at FFXIV... i can't help but to feel displaced. D:

I can see why they thought it was a good change. Certain tiny mobs like ladybugs were a real pain to target before this patch when there were a bunch of players and other selectable obstacles around. But the modified target system alleviates that problem a fair bit, once you get used to it. Some of the mobs do need additional size adjustments, though.

I dont mind about the mob sizes, but I dont really like the oversized LS icon.
I didnt realise they adjusted everything, I like the new size of marmots and puks and things, but if skeletons and toads are bigger, that makes no sense.
The toad was a complete shocker to me, in a good way. I remember seeing it in its original size. I however don't mind it with its current size. Seems extremely creepy lol.
It's funny because when I was doing r40 leves, everyone was in one zone and a dude made one aggro him.. pulled him to camp.. pretty epic lmao
I don't know, but I like the increased size in the monsters. Granted, I haven't seen every creature yet.
