Reclaim lasts the entire craft.

You technically can, unless that 10% rears its ugly head (it only boosts reclaim chance to 90%). And the 50 cp cost is still pretty hefty, esp when it comes to HQing star crafting. Though I'd imagine CP is not as important when it comes to crafting 3* furniture or glamour items (like the primal demimaterias).

Rumination gives you the CP you need for a Reclaim.

I was speaking in context to the quoted reply; Using reclaim as a contingency plan of sorts incase of a DC (where'd you want to use it as soon as possible).

CP is actually more important for 3* crafting, because their difficulty necessitates using things like Piece by Piece and the elemental brands, which require CP. Reclaim is worthless in 3* crafting and you will lose far more money from a Reclaim fail than just making it NQ.

Correct, they are both totally optional.

I personally think WN2 is the most useless lvl50 skill we get and would never waste a cross-class skill slot on it, as things stand currently.

Reclaim has it's uses but it's very risky and limited.
