Not really an option in the 45 instanced dungeons at least if you want to get done in the time allowed. MP management has always been something that people did not notice, however now mages and parties in general need to be aware of the new MP cost. My problem is the curega/II I would think it better and more AP friendly if they just made AoE cost more then adding new spells. I think it makes a happy medium and does not really nerf the mage classes so much that way along with allowing the mage class to not be pigeon holed into a job they don't really want to perform in a party. We have all played the tank/dd/healer setup is to much to ask that everyone be able to fill that roll depending on the type of monster you encounter?

You are correct. I believe the "Bind" effect was somewhere around 30 seconds before 1.18, after I am unsure of any change. And it was one of the first things I notice was MP management identical to XI's. I pointed out in another thread initial reasons for the current MP costs on certain spells, and although I found myself loss of MP, I soon picked back up what I had learned from XI about Healing management. Not really an option in the 45 instanced dungeons at least if you want to get done in the time allowed. Unfortunately, CON is flawed by nature due to it's Burn and/or Healing resume. Opposites shouldn't be together like CON. But from a foresight, CON(akin to SCH) as a class provides greater understanding and acceptance for Jobs. This is wher my theory that the Jobs BLM and WHM will be linked to the same class, being CON.
My brain is fried sry if I made little sense.
