I live in middle europe as well and i have to say, as a healer, this game is unplayable. The delay in dungeons for example is unbearable, you can't trust the circles on the ground since you can run out just fine but will still get hit even though you were outside for more than 1 or 2 seconds. The same goes for casting. I have hoorendous delay on casting, even cancelling by moving takes the game almost 2 seconds to register. Pre-emtive casting does not work, since you are always behind for at least 2 seconds. I'm really tired of this bullshit, the reason i quit the game 1 year ago was because of this stupid delay since the european players don't have a dedicated data center or servers located in the EU.

I would really like an answer from Square Enix: Are there any plans of opening up ACTUAL EUROPEAN SERVERS LOCATED IN EUROPE or do you continue to roll with your NA/EU bullshit data center in canada that causes the horrible delay for every european player ?

They won't open new servers there. They have little to no reason to do so, they have the money of most people who will play the game already. I had someone from Austria in my old SCOB group, he never had lag issues, nor complained/got hit by things. You should try using a VPN like WTFAST to help improve things because you are probably getting bad routing when you hit Montreal. Even people in the States suffer from this, like those poor Verizon FIOS customers. I even occasionally suffer from this and I have a great ISP/connection.

omg, someone that has the same exact problem as me, I am off by far off and by two seconds, and I get killed opposite of everybody I even got killed in the mid of an entire group in Titan EX I was with them in the middle of them and I got killed the only one, this is close to ridiculous when it happens.
