    This happens to everyone, if you play summoner any at all, you know to wait a half second after your last dot to Bane or Fester, your dots are on the GCD, aetherflow abilities aren't, so if you hit with one before the GCD of your last dot is finished, that dot won't be applied.

    As for the Summoner DOT's as the above person said, everyone has that issue, even those living next to the data-centre.

    This is because the effects of an ability are tied to the animation, so the DoT will only become active (And therefore subject to Bane/Fester) once its animation completes. This is a design choice by the devs and not an issue to do with lag or latency at all.
    Such a lack of understanding shows you might not know what you're talking about in other areas.

    Because only this game is housed on Square's Canadian server array, and therefore this is the only game you have experienced playing on this particular network path? Traceroute it. You'll almost certainly find a couple of dodgy hops, probably where it passes through providers that prioritize http traffic over everything else.

    Change ISP. As for your friend, you can't be on 30ms and have problems in a game designed for 300ms without their being either a) a problem with your reactions, or b) a problem with your networking.

    Stupid question, or at least it should be. You are playing over a hardline connection aren't you? You're not trying to play over wifi or something stupid like that?

    You have a third of my ping from Hong Kong, yet I don't struggle? The same was true of many of my Japanese friends during beta, when I was playing from the UK on the Japanese data centre. Almost certainly the quality of your ISP. I gained 130ms moving from the UK to HK, yet the game feels much more responsive and reliable now. I bet if you traceroute, you'll find it's little more than a case of a few dodgy hops.

    SWTOR has servers physically located in us west coast and us east coast eu servers are located in Ireland.

    WOW has us servers located in New York Chicago Phoenix and Los Angeles. EU servers are located in Frankfurt Germany, Paris France, Stockholm Sweden and Russia

    ESO has servers physically located in North America and Frankfurt Germany

    Guild wars 2 us servers are located in Austin, TX and eu servers are in Frankfurt Germany

    Wildstar servers are Dallas for NA and Frankfurt/Germany for EU.

    League of Legends has Brazil servers in Miami FL, Europe Nordic & East in Frankfurt Germany, Europe West in Frankfurt Germany, Latin America North in Miami FL, Latin America South in Santiago Chile, North America in Los Angeles CA and Oceanic in Sydney Australia.

    What does FFARR get??? Canada for NA and EU.

    All people are asking for is the same type of service ALOT of other pay to play MMOs are offering their customers.

    The real question is though:

    When will they actually implement Real EU servers? They said they would if the demand for it was high, Ive seen too many threads about this already..

    You just answered your own question. The demand isn't high enough to warrant Square from setting up another data center. The second reason is probably Square's unwillingness to let a 3rd party company maintain their server. Sorry European.

    I also live in the EU and noticed this issue, what is more interesting though, is that the NA servers are actually soooooo much better connection wise.(despite them being in the same place to my knowledge.) if its really that bad u could try convincing your FC to transfer
