    That's not even close to my point. I started on PS3 myself. Don't you put words in my mouth.

    My point is saying 7% of an unknown (but absolutely not 100% or 50% or close to those) percentage of players have done a thing gives us zero information. If I tell you I have 10% of half of some money I owe you, you know I have 5%. If I say I have 10% of a portion of the money I owe you, you have no idea how much money I have.

    If I recall, Naoki said this was within their expected range. So it's likely they don't expect more than 1% of the total active subscriber base to complete their hardest raid (if we take that 500k number).

    It does seem like they are wasting development time for less than 1% of the population. Yet they have to make that content so players have a reason to keep playing while simultaneously not making that content too easy so that people don't burn through it.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    ^^ Other Games have several difficulty levels for raids so nobody is left out. This Game has only one difficulty level for all players where they funnily enough expect only a tiny minority to be able to beat it when it comes out. This cannot fit for everybody and players make it worse with their attitude.

    I can understand raiders complaining that they want the best loot only from the most difficult raids. But now even a side-story is prohibited when you can't beat the content around it for whatever reason? Ridiculous.

    Considering it does not affect you in any way, yeah, it is. I had my fun with T5 and now it's someone else's turn. If they can't beat it nerf it! It doesn't diminish my experience (and the fun I had) at all.
