It diminishes the game experience because the developers designed those cutscenes with the express purpose of the player watching them at those very points in the level. When you watch them at an inn you're watching them without the context of the full level. You don't get to view the cutscenes with your full party members' models in them either, which diminishes the epic group team-up mentality of levels like that. Just because impatient, rude people don't want to wait for party members doesn't change the fact that these cutscenes were made to be viewed in-level.

It's also incredibly selfish of someone to demand that of a person who's experiencing that for the first time... I'm guessing you either (A) are selfish and don't care about other people's enjoyment of a game, or (B) were forced by some other impatient person to skip your own cutscenes when you initially ran that level and are now angrily passing that on to the next person ("If I had to skip them, so does everyone else!").

Also I have to laugh at the "wasting other people's time" part... Ooooh I have to wait a couple extra minutes (and I'm saying a couple minutes of total time... it's really only 30 secs to a minute for most individual cutscenes) in a timesink game where people often sit around for hours at a time doing little to nothing anyway. I'm sure "busy" people like you could alt-tab and check your email or get a drink or something if that's soooo much time you're losing out on.
