    Seriously??? asking for "extreme hard mode" for dungeons that you often have to run at least 3-5 times a week - with RANDOM PUGS!!! at the bare minimum 4 times a month??? NO THANKS. I am fine if they add options for "harder mode" but ONLY if you enter that with a pre-made party from your server. NONE of these hard mode crap on duty finder dungeon theme park ride. Anything extra hard or super hard, you should be able to do it with pre made party of your own.

    Sadly... another game that SE owns, did FAR FAR superior jobs when it comes to difficulty adjustment, and it leaves entirely up to the party what type of challenge, and the rewards scale based on your choice. The superior one is a game that is 11 years old, that got a hefty boost of updates from one of FF14 former team - maybe it is time for this person to come back to FF14 and take over? Matsui and his skeleton crew teams did so much in the one year, it's embarrassing when you compare it to the effort put in this game.

    If you want the challenge you go for the 8 mans. That is how it is in FFXIV. It isn't that hard to get 8 people together to do some hard content.

    Read what I posted.

    "-doing Ramuh EX and experiencing the same mechanics over and over again gets rather boring (and even frustrating). Second Coil also has a player lockout to it that prevents us from running it again when a Turn is completed (which encourages statics). There's not one dungeon in the game that offers the same level of challenge (or slightly less, but above Syrcus Tower) as Second Coil or EX Primals."

    Also Yoninxi, I only included Moggle Mog as a 'difficult EX Primal' as that is currently the only fight most people who have yet to unlock Ramuh EX are stuck on.

    2.4 will remove the coil 2 lockout when its added to DF... does that make it all the more appealing to do it with random people? or will everyone still do it with their static that can grind those turns and obtain all the loot? Coil 3 will add a new challenge, and a whole new money making scam for ppl to pay for turn 9 wins... But from what I have read, there is no happy medium, there are the elitist ( who beat everything in week then complain cause its all now too easy), and the casuals (who are there to enjoy the game at their own pace). Adding harder content wont change that, all the harder stuff will only last for a month atleast.

Coil isnt only fun for elitist, its fun for many medium skilled static parties (we raid for 2 hours twice a week).

    Coil isnt hardcore content, it is medium, but you just need patience and a bunch of people to raid with. It is hard to make harder content than faceroll if people arent willing to form statics. Pugs make coil extra hard, not SE.

    No. They're saying if your gear level goes over 110, you'll be synced to 110. So AK will still be a faceroll dungeon.
    Honestly, SE's decision to make the dungeons minimal requirement be i80 has made it very easy for me to abandon this game. They clearly have no idea what they're doing with dungeons any more.

    Yeah i110 is way too high to cap off at.

    Idk why they don't sync incrementally.

    Sigh, maybe eventually we'll get challenging dungeons & appropriate/relevant rewards.
