The next job /class will be

Yoshida said the next jobs, coming in the expansion, will be healers / tanks. He also stated that Musketeer is a job that requires "MRD" and is not what players are expecting. The developers of FFXIV also stated numerous times that the game will be different through and through from FFXI.

Where was this stated, I keep seeing it but haven't got a source.

You mean like the dagger-weilding person left of your rapier person? :P (Who also has another dagger with a fancy rapier-like hilt on their belt)
