Yoshida said the next jobs, coming in the expansion, will be healers / tanks. He also stated that Musketeer is a job that requires "MRD" and is not what players are expecting. The developers of FFXIV also stated numerous times that the game will be different through and through from FFXI.

It was stated by Yoshida during live letters, (before 2.2) twice.
