    sure, good melee players will be fine but what if you compare those "good" melee players to "good" ranged class players?
    Um, sorry but ranged has as many things to dodge as melee. Most bosses actually have long range attacks that only aim for distant targets. Also ranged have a massive disadvantage with cone AoEs like Bad Breath, since they have to run further to get out of the marker. No one has it "worse", dodging is hard for everyone.

    I play BLM as my main, and DRG is next in line gear wise - ranged is far easier to play in most cases. I think all the DRG jump abilities need their cooldowns cut in half. The damage a jump does isn't really that amazing compared to a normal strike - the only advantage is it can be used in between rotation hits. Being able to escape AOE's and quickly get back into the fight via jumps would be amazing. Right now you can do it once every 2-3 fights in a typical dungeon. I feel like DRG's should spend a lot more time in the air.
