Let's not be silly and derail an important topic. The owner's name on the house shouldn't change. The owner is the one who paid for the plot. If someone contributed that's their "risk". You should obviously trust your marriage partner. If SE wants to make sure that there are not "fake" marriages being done just for the mount or the "perks", then this could be another solidifying benefit. I don't think people are going to contribute millions towards a house they don't own with their marriage partner they found in /shout or PF.
What we want is the owner of the house to be able to set permissions to other players. This could be Eternal Bond Partner, Friend List, FC members, whatever. THIS IS NEEDED.
Settle down little fella, I don't think that one little joke is going to send the thread flying off the tracks into oblivion. Obviously who ever bought the house will retain ownership. Leave it up the original owner. If people pooled money to buy a house, then the owner can decide if they want to return any if the other decides to leave, buying them out as it be.
If I were to buy a house with more than one person then the terms need to be set up front before anything is bought.
Not entirely on topic, but why would $E care if a marriage is "fake" or not. Why would anyone care? It's a video game... ( - . - ;
I married the first person I met after the patch ( > . >
No one's marriage reasons is better than the other's marriage reasons, be it to live happily ever after, or be it a chocobo mount. It's all fake marriages anyway since it's all not real.
And besides, $E themselves don't refer it as "marriage" (Eternal Bond).
Just been seeing a lot of comments of players thinking their marriage is more important than others because this and that, it's not.
