In game marriage and housing

I think this would be a obvious feature with marriage. Hopefully they utilize it. :/

Hmmm, 2.4 marriage/personal housing question. Will married couples be able to share a personal house, and will they be limited to one house per couple? (such as, if both own a house then get married will one be forced to give it up)

I think between the backstory of the event, the pilgramage, and being able to have a ceremony where Moogles lift you both into the air with magical wings and you and your partner share a kiss is a tad bit past "friendship" :P

My girlfriend and I just bought a house hoping to get married and share the house. Just mainly the stable, mender, garden and stuff like that.
What I think SE is worried about is what happens when two people split?
Anyway that should be who ever the houses name is in gets it. Put it in the terms..
Anyway someone could put a post in the live letter questions section for the next live letter and see if it gets answered?
Also lets them know we want it..
I also dont understand why you could not have a room mate... This certainly would make housing more popular and maybe make the subdivisions a little more active.. Ours is like a ghost town, barely see anyone.

I too would like this feature as my gf and I pooled together resources to buy a house and we would like to be able to share it.

Eternal Bonding and Shared Housing

One of my greatest hopes when I heard about eternal bonding was that my husband and I could buy a house together and share it, however, with the implementation of patch 2.45 this doesn't seem to be an option. Is this something that could be implemented in the future, or should we just buy a house each?

I was really hoping for this feature. I enjoy having my own house but it gets lonely.

I could only imagine the s%÷* storm that would have followed if they implemented this.

"So I have to marry someone just to share my house? OMG maybe I don't want to marry a man or another woman, FU SE quit forcing me to do this!"

"WTF I can only share my house with one other person? But 3/4 of us saved up for this, you are screwing us!"

"OMG me and my sister pitched in for a house, now we have to get married to share it? Are you promoting incest SE?"

Etc. Etc.

They need to add permissions for everyone instead of just the eternal bond system. Much less problems that way.
