don't know what to say OP... but zerg parties own pug groups at the moment. give it another 1-2 weeks.. to die down. Make you own party and say its a learning group.

Yah a tank at least can hold their own for a little bit if they run in...a DPS...as a healer I'll just let a DPS who Leeroys die since if I hit them with a cure I'll take hate and wind up dead myself if the tank(s) aren't prepared. As a tank...I usually wind up reflexively grabbing the boss and trying to recover the attempt depending on the Trial. Running in with buffs isn't even that big a deal, but if the healer hasn't buffed you there's a chance they're not quite ready to start the encounter either. I'll happily buff after the pull, but it isn't my problem if you pull with no warning as soon as the barrier falls and I'm typing something quickly in FC chat or something and you die as I scramble to cancel out of the chat box and cure you.

As harsh as it may seem, you have to learn to deal with it. SE is constantly sending endgame players to early game content to help players. While the idea is great on paper and some people are happy to help, most people just want to get it over with and will come off as rude. Not that I blame them since we're getting very little actual endgame content and have to deal with the constant stream of recycled content. People are just tired of having to run through launch day content to obtain endgame loot a year after release.
I'm glad the duty roulette is paying me 2.7k gil per run as a healer, to play the roles of OTing both sisters, dps, and heal all at once. I would be even happier if SE raises the reward to 4500 since I gotta play all 3 roles as a healer >_>
It's doubtful that it will die down any time soon with the way the Nexus progression is. Can I cast protect four different times to get everyone in the party? Probably. Can I still stoneskin everyone with the start of the fight? Maybe. But why should I have to chase everyone down? And, more importantly, if you're in a rush, you've just lost the damage I could've been contributing in Cleric Stance. At about 615 on a Stone II with 930ish for crits, I could've thrown in around 7000 in damage instead of chasing everyone down to protect them or heal extra to compensate for those who don't have protect on them to begin with.
Still, I realize the people who want to rush will continue to have arguments as to why they feel healers don't deserve to cast beneficial spells to the party, and again, that is why I'm seeking development/admin response. (And not one of those generic "Please look forward to it" responses, though I'm sure that's inevitable.)
Protect is a spell for a reason.
I don't get what you're asking for. Just do your job the best you can and don't be an asshole if the party wipes? Or should the devs come say that all veteran players are mean and they should be reported? Of course you can report someone who deliberately keeps wiping the party and isn't contributing but this isn't the case, right? People that rush a pull because they can afford to and win in the end are doing nothing wrong. Now if the party wipes because of an early pull, you just try again after people dust themselves off. Is this really a topic?
Do your best. Don't be an asshole. If someone considers you rude then that's their problem. If you wanna be friendly, say hello and chit chat, then maybe that's your thing. But people really need to stop being so touchy about everything. Are we gonna make a topic about players not saying hello next? "They be rude, yo! Ban them!"
@Magiseanzz: As a fellow healer, my advice is to just not heal those who give you such trouble. Some people have to learn from actions; if a particular tank I'm with runs off without taking Protect, I assume they don't want my heals either. Better yet, I stand next to them and start desynthing fish. Or repair my gear one piece at a time. I have a cast-Protect-once policy. Even a macro: "Casting Protect now, if you're not in range, too bad so sad <se.10>". And if they're not in range, I'll assume they're not in range for heals either.
They can Leeroy Jenkins all they want, I'll be alive AND have my chicken as well.
If I'm MTing Garuda I make it a habit now to just grab both sisters since so often the OT will be newer and have issues picking up the green tethered sister.
You trying so hard to make this sound like a big deal when it really isn't. Just cast protect during the fight and nobody cares about stoneskin on these HM versions. It's doubtful that it will die down any time soon with the way the Nexus progression is. Can I cast protect four different times to get everyone in the party? Probably. Can I still stoneskin everyone with the start of the fight? Maybe. But why should I have to chase everyone down?.
