Actually Yoshida has talked about housing very little, that's part of the whole problem. Had he actually talked about it more often, perhaps we wouldn't have been left with nine month old information fueling misconceptions about personal housing.

I'm sure they are (probably only level design though, since housing is mostly world objects), but you can't just throw more people at something, that isn't how this works. Putting too many people on a single project is terrible resource management and tends to have negative results. You cannot, for example, have one person working on Behemoths model, and go "Lets have another guy doing that to get it done twice as fast". That would be like going "Hey, let me play that game with you, we'll finish twice as fast", you simply cannot play games in that way.

At best you could hope to get Crystal Tower and Coil in every update, but somehow I don't think the housing team is that large or experience with such content. They design furniture, not boss mechanics. The most it would realistically achieve is more variety in zones and monster designs, it wouldn't speed up the release of endgame content. This is a theme park MMO, they should already be pushing out new content as fast as they can.
