No fracture is not worth it.

I think it was the 2.1 patch that made the use of fracture useless(correct me if I'm wrong).
You will definitely want to have BfB and Inner Release up before Chaos Thrust. And a strength pot if ur the type to do that.
A DRG rotation isn't so much a rotation as a priority list.
>> Highest priority is Heavy thrust, which you will always follow with phlebotomize unless the boss is turning a lot, in which case you will want to take the opportunity to impulse drive (thinking of titan ex) If this is up and has 8+ seconds left (approx) do the next step
>>next is disembowel/chaos thrust (for which you will want BfB and IR up, as often as possible, which i mentioned) If this is up and has 8+ second timer left, do the next step
>>Next is your filler rotation, true/vorpal/full thrust. When BfB is up, life surge right before Full thrust.
After that, you will want to begin to weave. Using jump with power surge, and weaving disembowel/dragonfire dive if u dont need them for gap closers.
If you do what u listed, and repeated that over and over, you would be clipping buffs and dots horribly.
I don't always pug, but when i do, it's with Pretty Ugly Guys
Since most dps equips give str, its safe to put that 30 status points into VIT?
And, what is the best camera mode for dragoon? Legacy? Lock-mode? What do you guys use to not lose auto-attacks?
30 into STR, no reason not to, and you want all the STR you can get. As for movement type, it's really more personal preference and what you are controlling with. Are you on keyboard and mouse or are you using a controller? One thing to note is that if you do use legacy most will highly recommend that you lock on so you aren't losing auto attacks.
Endless debate pretty sure but in what situation would you lose auto attacks using Legacy and no lock-on? My MNK auto attack damage contributes to about 30%~ total damage, with or without Legacy and no lock-on.
Could go further into detail and count autoattacks done on whatever encounter but yea, curious when you'd lose auto attacks while using Legacy/no lock-on.
If you don't lock on, Legacy makes your character turn in order to move left or right instead of strafing. If your character turns far enough that they're no longer facing the target, you lose AA.Endless debate pretty sure but in what situation would you lose auto attacks using Legacy and no lock-on? If your DPS drops by 100 just because of using Legacy type and no other changes you are doing something extremely wrong, such as moving far more than you need to.
XI: Zeroblade, Titan Server
Fair enough, I don't have "Move Left / Turn Left " and "Move Right / Turn Right" bound for ages now and just use "Strafe Left" and "Strafe Right" on A and D, totally forgot about it and just realized that after checking. I guess that's why I never noticed a difference.
