Goodbye cleric stance.. you will be sorely missed

If thats the case then take Cleric out of PVE if you want us to just heal.. This was originally the idea skill implemented with our class/job why take it out because people are bad at there job.. Plus doing good damage as a healer in PvE and PvP takes skill, I've seen countless time when I've out dpsed most my group (Melee doing 20k to 30k is terrible, Range doing 10k-20k is terrible, Tanks doing under 10k is terrible) and if it wasn't for the help of my dps I doubt we were be able to hold any post... Not sure what class you play but apparently its not healer...

More than likely cleric stance was given to healer to lessen the burden of leveling. Traditionally, tanks and healers had it rough leveling due to their inferior damage capability compared to dps roles.

How can say not sure but at same time can confirm is not healer? Whole point of 'not sure' is you do not know? You do not know but know?

Cleric stance was design with a PvE context in mind, not a PvP one.
Just like a tank job completly changes from PvE to PvP, you should expect your own job to change as well.

Only terrible players fail to see that PvE balance cannot be strictly applied to PvP.

Cleric stance was not fitting in a PvP environment because it was breaking "roles definition" and "class balance". It doesn't matter if you need "skill" to be able to use it (even if, in fact, you don't... so, you should stop using that false argument) or if it's something that you use everyday outside PvP.

I didnt know that healing specs have any issue on WoW PvP server myself. I have been a Holy Paladin in TBC for 2 patches on Arthas server and Ruin is a pretty PvP competitive battlegroup, but that is just me probabbly. Anyone cares to share their experience? Oh right, Holy Paladin only got 1s flash light, 3s Holy Light, a lol hammer, a bubble every 5 mins, and cant not cast while moving. How did I survived against the wraith of Twin Blades Rogues and Walrocks in TBC?

By the way, didnt they said that Cleric Stance does not work only in PvP zone? Dear defeders, please stop making assumption that you are the only one with healer PvP experience. For God's sake, I started as WHM when FF11 is my first mmorpg.

This is not an issue because open-PvP is completly different than arena-PvP. The rules, objectives and general purpose of the two differs so much that you often have to balance both of them separately.

... Besides, it's very unlikely that we see open-PvP in FFXIV.
