Do NOT cap accuracy. Once you get the i110 gear weather it is HA or Soldiery you will be swimming in acc. However, you do want a good acc chunk on your to allow you to play around with your gear builds.
    I would recommend:
    Sword: 28 parry, 25acc
    Shield: 13 parry(max), 9 det/crit (max)

0 parry, max Det and Crit, or Det and Acc if you want to "future-proof" it.

    Parry is so 2013.

okay so based on all the feedback im debating on going either a balanced build that has a mixture of parry acc and det
or just disregarding parry and going acc and det

what do you guys think about that
my guildmate who has his paladin novus says i should go parry acc but i honestly dont feel that

Once you are i110 who cares lol.

Make your novus for your play style.

Progressive players will want to max ACC for coil3.

People that will do coil3 a month or two after it's out will want maybe 20-25 Acc.

People that won't do coil3 or will be very late to trying it will need little to no Acc.

    Acc+det is best for sure.

Acc+det/crit is 2nd (more det the better)

Acc+crit or Acc+parry wolf be third. Neither secondary is going to help much.

It's a shame I can only hit the like button once. You sum it up well.

And maxing crit/det on your Novus is waaaaay more than 2-3 dps. Not sure where a previous poster pulled that number out of.

I believe you missed the part about "... to allow flexibility with future gear upgrades.", but well, whatever.

No, I didn't. You'll be going into Coil 3 with armor bought with whatever the new tomes are and whatever you pulled out of turn 2. You're still going to be over cap for turn 3 if you drop a ton of ACC into your Novus. But well, whatever.

Not everyone uses the same choices in armor/accessories right now, nor do we know what stats will be on the next sets of armor. In addition, not everyone does every content in max turtle gear (by turtle gear I mean VIT-only accessories); I use STR pentamelded Topaz accessories for most situations right now since the small loss in VIT is worth it to me. You really can't speak on behalf of everyone here.

As mentioned by Taint, Novus should be tailored to one's own playstyle and gear choices.

I chuckle at the "future proof" comments. There will be updated gear, updated food, and you'll have more acc than you ever need all the time.
