...The point really is that if you AoE 5 monsters and are able to kill them all then why do you not deserve the SP for all 5? If they were low ranked monsters and you AoE'd them you would get crappy SP/Exp anyways so you can't really grind off of it, however if they are tougher monsters, why should you get less SP/Exp for achieving that feat?

    Agree completely.

What exactly are we going to be AoEing that's going to be worth "grinding" anyway?

I kinda think they should apply a percentage to additional mobs. for example, 100% for the first mob, 50% for the second, and 25% for the third mob. and so on..
So the more mobs you fight would still reward you with you sp/xp but in less quantity.
    better than not having anything.

i like the way it is actually. the only time it annoys me is in like behest or leves when an aggro mob attacks and someone kills them and you don't notice and get reduced sp from killing the leve or behest mob. that and someone in a behest decides to run off and attack anything that moves. to me leves and behest should be single parties with any mob in that behest or leve is already a "claimed" mob since you would be the only one that could attack them. other than that you just have to be careful and tactical in battles to keep from using other aoe's on random mobs.

You have a point, just saying that it seems unfair to waste time on AOE spells/ skills to have no good reward in turn for it.
What exactly was the purpose for all of these AoE abilities if they have no real indication in the full function of the game,
for the exclusion of behest/leve. The behest feature I think needs to be fixed with the campaign system. Allowing for players to reep the benefits of the behest as a whole, instead of singular mobs. perhappss

oh i agree and do not mind the idea of it. i was just looking at problems it could cause as a drawback. i would personally have no problems of a mob attacking me while i am fighting another mob to be able to use my aoe skills on them too. i just worry that it could be taken advantage of causing people to attack lower level groups of mobs for more sp than fighting tough mobs. that would hurt the groups that like group play as you would have more people solo this or that mob.

    True strike.

I am not sure how the balance of mob vs. rank is. But is sp in total based on level of the mob? If so, then decrease sp rewarded drastically for under leveled mobs, and semi boost the sp rewarded by equal-higher level mobs. In xi mobs too under your level give 0 xp. That gives some extra push for players to explore and fight mobs in areas suitable for there level.

without getting all detailed because i do know everything either. it is a base sp for each mob with a bonus for mobs above 10 levels above you. mobs sp does decrease if they are below you. i was just looking at if aoe's were allowed full sp you could kill more lvl30 mobs in a single shot than you could a level 45 mob even with the sp difference the combined of 5 lvl 30 mobs would be comparable with less chance of death. this would lead to less people willing to group and fight the tougher mobs.
