    [Suggestion] Allow 100% sp/exp for multi mob kills

    This has been something that has bothered me for some time about FFXIV.

    If I'm fighting a mob and I get an add I only get sp/xp proportional to it's HP when the monster becomes claimed. I did all the work to stay alive and fight off multiple monsters but I get such a small amount of SP/XP in return for the effort.


    So please, please please reward us for using our AOE spells and abilities on non Behest or Guildleve targets.

    I agree with this greatly. Also, while it may throw a slight kink into balancing(this is only a suggestion after all), I think that to make more use of AoE abilities that all classes have access to, it might be worth looking into certain enemies travel in small packs or herds maybe.

    Total XP/SP earned could be at a fixed amount for taking on these two mobs at the same time, but I feel it would give a bit more of a dynamic feel to combat if you're going mano a mano against a puk and its sibling/mate. Might open up more party strategies.

    They're doing this to prevent exploiting of some kind, but I frankly don't see how it could be used to exploit, since a mage AoEing multiple mobs is going to aggro all of those mobs and, if s/he can't handle that aggro, die.

    Anti-RMT tactics. They're preventing RMT from AoE grinding to the top; which would work quite well seeing as every damn move is AoE.

    I'd say if its an inconvenience to the players, and it is, get rid of it. Don't hurt the playerbase cause of what people will be able to do with certain mechanics.

    The mobs in your leve quest can't be claimed by anyone else - make these mobs ALL claimed for the duration of the leve. That would solve this SP punishment issue.

    yes i agree with this a lot, they pushing this party vs party thing and then we get here and it's like we can't kill multiple mobs less they are linked and no normal grind mobs are. they should make all mobs that get hit be added to the party vs party and allow full sp. i don't care bout this rmt prevention, prevent it in a different way.i'd suggest some rmt prevention methods but it's not my job and i'm sure u know what your doing anyway SE. i love killing multiple mobs at a time, fact they should add sp grind mobs that are linked at the very least, give us packs of dogs not one to kill for grinding, crazy 2-3mole battles as a grind this is great party vs party but for the grind not just boring leves. if anything drop the sp dramaticly and accordingly so u can do this.

    also i'll add on this post while the thought is there, they need to make each star worth just that much more sp in leve links, we can do 2stars and run threw them with our eyes closed and still get same sp as the people trying to do them at 3-4stars, and 5 isn't ever attempted outside of a full tier below u'r level. this needs a huge tweaking in my opinion. let the option of 4 or 5 stars be so much more worth it that the extra hour was worth it.

    I totally agree with the OP. Also, mob leashing prevents any exploitable behavior.

    Mob leashing prevents astral burn parties from working in XIV. The only reason AB parties were any good was because you could pull the whole zone to one spot. You simply can't do that in XIV due to other mechanics that are already in place (namely: mob leashing).

    I think it should stay the same. Someone said Mage AOEs will just kill them off, Well what about all of the other jobs AOE/Cone abilities.

    It should stay to prevent people from grinding to 50 in 4 days. If people were able to just AOE happy their way to the top, they also wouldnt have a clue on how true party mechanics work either like hate management or tanking.
