@OP: I wouldnt say the pt have no dps, WAR with 30 str and str jewel on ilvl 110 (assume the war use the ilvl 110 wep) , they have around 210 to 230 dps

No, Warrior' is really a WoW Blood Death Knight reborn with much stronger mechanics. I start to reserch on JP sites after I soloed 2nd boss of Hull reader island all by myself, then I found this.

Soloable as PLD, too. Just use Stoneskin and you won't even take a single point of damage. It usually lasts until the next submerge; sometimes longer. The boss does pitiful damage. It's really nothing special that a WAR is able to solo it.

People die from the stacking debuff (since you can't dispel it) and not getting into a bubble at the right time - both sources of damage can easily be avoided. That's about it. People die pretty often in Duty Finder groups though…

I also killed that boss solo as SCH and WHM. I'm pretty sure that most DPS jobs using their regenerative abilities and dodging properly can do it, too. I have no first hand experience killing it solo as DPS though.

I think this kind of habit should be praised and commended. Players tackling content and solving it in new creative ways is a great ideas!! More players should do this kind of activities, challenging the content and try more job combinations that defy the normal form. No balance is needed if ever....

People already figured out how to do this with SMN and unfortunately there was no praise and SE fixed it so people couldn't do it anymore. This will probably fixed as well they don't like it when you think outside the box.

We're either thinking of different Warriors, or different Blood Death Knights, because I have no idea how you reached that conclusion.

(To be clear, I quit WoW when they announced Cataclysm, so my experience with DKs was that they were all way OP.)

Warrior and Paladin both have decent DPS when they arn't tanking. It may not be as massive as BLM or MNK but it gets the job done. I bet you that if you had the same group but as PLDs you could clear it just the same. Sword Oath with 30 str and, STR Gear.. yep.. totally works.

DD = Damage Dealing Classes. I knew what you meant, but inb4 flame grammar people?

Oh hey, this nonsense again. The Titan-egi solotank method was changed because it was taking advantage of an unintended oversight. (Shock Strike is a small AoE so the egi ignores it) It made the boss -ludicrously- easier since it allowed parties to form with either 2 heal/6 DPS or if needed 3 heal/5 DPS. It was making the easiest (and thus most-used) method not require tanks in any way, which would have led to tanks having a MUCH harder time getting into parties for Ramuh. THAT is why the fight was altered, not because "waaah Square doesn't like people thinking outside the booooox"

As an example, people figured out how to do Mog EX without the need for tank swapping using Titan to hold hate on the King. This is -not- being nerfed because a) the tanks are still present too, b) it's not necessarily easier because healers now have three separate targets that are constantly taking damage and need to be protected, c) it's a really clever little trick that makes good use of the SMN class abilities (unlike solo-egi Ramuh EX which allows you to ignore the fight's mechanics via what is a borderline exploit because Titan-egi takes virtually no damage from ANY of Ramuh's attacks).
