    I too agree that it probably is chemist because in the history of Final Fantasy we don't have many healers other than white mage, chemist, and now potentially dancer since in FFXI they were healers.

    No, Chemist doesn't have anything to do with magic but we also have no 100% confirmation. No video or document showing it was stated. It also wouldn't be the first time YP misspoke. See the great DEX vs STR debate for Ninja.
