Actually, I didn't even think about the queue times in my initial post, nor my latest one. By the time a dedicated server is made for PvP, I'd like to think that they'd have worked-out the kinks in the current system, along with getting rid of the Grand Company requirement that goes with FL. As for Wolve's Den, again, by then I'd hope they'd fix it up a little, to make it relevant within the PvP community. Assuming they've done all this by the time a PvP server is introduced, the queue times would be much better than they are now; especially in Frontlines. So in my opinion, queue times will be a non-issue with FL, and possibly WD as well.
To avoid writing a book again, I'll summarize my previous argument. The world is a big place. You're taking the minority of players and stuffing them on one server with access to instanced PvP with much better queue times in the future that span across different worlds/data centers, and tons of instanced PvE. How certain are you, that you'll even see someone? I'm on Jenova, and I can count on one hand how many people I see travelling across the maps in each zone. Supposedly my server's populated with tons of PS4 users from what I've heard in-game. How many do you think you'll see on a PvP server doing the same thing, knowing the risk? I'll help you; the minority, of the minority. Outside of bosses like Odin and such of course.
Call me what you wish, the fact of the matter is I'm just as much into PvP as the next guy. I've been a part of PvP communities for going on 9 years now across various B2P, F2P, P2P, and P2W games. If open-world PvP is added to the game, it should be done right. Not just tacked on like the majority of you want. Otherwise it's going to be a disaster like I'm forecasting, just as it's been in many, many games before FFXIV. This game is no exception.
