Hello ! I need some help because since yesterday i'm in this loop : Regal purple - Royal Blue - Regal Purple ... ^^

From the beginning i've done this :

10 apples : Millicorn yellow
5 apples, 5 valfruits, 5 pears : Pumpkin orange
7 apples, 7 valfruits, 7 pears : Sunset orange
5 apples : Blood red
5 berries : Dalamund Red
1 berry : Regal purple
1 berry : nothing
5 berries : Royal blue
5 apples :Regal purple
4 berries : Royal blue
9 apples : Regal purple
10 berries, 1 valfruit : Royal blue

My goal is to have scoot black, so how can i go out this damn loot please ?

So this brings me up to now. I found this chart too:

and so I decided to try going by it. I gave 1 O'Ghomoro Berries last night, and today my chocobo is Royal Blue. Very pretty!



As you can see, neither chart shows getting Royal Blue next, but that is where I am at.
I have kept the stable in good condition the entire time, I don't know if this has any effect on the changes or not.

I just fed my chocobo 3 Xelphatol Apples and got the growing feathers message after the 3rd one. I will post again at the next color change.

Have you been getting the "growing new feathers" message every time? I listed 2 charts in my previous posts. If you aren't using a chart it may help. I would suggest this one:

I'm stuck In a loop of Regal Purple and Dalamud Red.

Apples did not work getting me from Regal to Rolanbarry.
I'm back on Regal now, trying with Pineapples, which I had initially thought to do, but changed my mind to Apples.

I use the same chart as you do.
From my undestanding if i give him apples I should have Abyssal blue but it doesn't work :s

Well, you were feeding 3 different fruits per stage for 2nd and 3rd, so our paths/maps/charts are not going to work for that. You never should have fed valfruit that early. Soot Black is deepening fruit all the way until you get near-black, plus you have to equalize the RGB. Those Valfruit and Pears canceled each other out mostly. Once you get near-black, then it's adjusting with only a few fruit per stage.

I can't say you won't hit black or near-black the way you're doing it. But, if it was me... I'd feed pears to try to land on a grey color. Then cycle through all the deepening fruit, 1 type per stage, then switch to the next one the next stage. May have to adjust as you go, but i think that should take you up the gray scale towards black. Feeding lightening fruit at the point you are is just going to hurt you.

You want to try to keep your RGB numbers around the same, and just keep getting darker. Once you start cycling fruit they should even out to a grey color after every 3rd stage. When cycling through you want to try to keep the number of fruit the same like 7 apples > 7 Berries > 7 pears. May have to do one fruit for more than 1 stage depending on how fast you get a new feathers message. That's what i meant by adjust as you go. You want to try to kept he numbers even so you'll hit a grey after the 3rd color.

Packing in one deepening fruit at a time, does not work (tried it). Alternating two of them, might not work either. I think it's got to be all 3.

You'll need to make it to a grey color before you start that, but yes

Probably 1 is enough per fruit/stage. Like I said, you want to try to keep the RGB numbers as equal as possible. There's going to be some discrepancy cause it's RNG. Like if it takes 7 pears to get a message the first stage, and then you switch to apples next stage and it take 2 to get a message. Then you might want to do another stage of apples, before moving on to berries, so that you get the apple number closer to the pear number before. Same with the berries, and if it goes according to plan, you "should" land back on a grey color after the 3rd fruit type.

By the way, this is all hypothetical. This is something I was going to try later after I'm finished with what I'm on now. It's all your decision weather you try it or not.

My plan was berries from Desert Yellow until I hit Goobbue Grey, then start cycling the fruit as above.
