Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

So I've been trying, unsuccessfully to get my chocobo to soot black. I've gotten him to midnight black a couple of times, then in my attempts to get him closer to black, have dyed him purple, and now void blue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

how have you make he midnight blue? i try it now 3 days..... .

Also came here looking for advice. I've seen various people reach Abyssal Blue, but the tips didn't really work out for me. I don't have all my steps written down but most of my frustrations comes from these latest.

Gloom Purple
+ 1 berry (? feeds)

I'm not sure at all what to try to feed my chocobo now or if I should reset his color to start again.

EDIT: Fed him 5 berries and 5 pears going by the rgb values in calculator - each of the feeds got new feathers message. I really hope ths brings me to Abyssal Blue. I have followed calculator with the pineapple and apple previously already though and the current guess was Abyssal blue then as well...

Even with the 5 berries and pears he ended Royal Blue again. Absolutely no idea what to feed him this time anymore. ;_; I tried apples from this several times, even in combination with pineapples already...

Hello there, now taking care of my second chocobo and trying to get from Turquoise green to Morbol Green, anybody has an advice to give ? (if you need a picture of turquoise green, I can make one)

I'm trying to do this as well.

You need to deepen everything equally.

You are at Turquoise Green (71, 119, 119)
You want to get to Morbol Green (31, 71, 71)

Berry x 9
Apple x 10
Pear x 9

Berries 9 (11)
Apples 10 (10)
Pears 9 (17)

So, this lead me to Ochu Green
Ochu Green -> 1 Berry (5) -> Turquoise Green
Turquoise Green -> 8 Apples (10) + 9 Berries (9) + 9 Pears (9) + 2 Apples (2) -> Hunter Green
Hunter Green -> 1 Berry (6) -> Morbol Green.

I hope that will help someone
