Actually I wish I had more time to play.
Actually I wish I had more time to play.
They DID IT! <3
Because of the history, the epic fights (I mean Leviathan Ex, Twintania is not a epic fight normog, they are just frustrating), the friends i have made.
Yoshida actually listening to player concerns and responding to them is what keeps me playing. It interests me as a computer science major because watching a professional deal with the difficulties involved in listening and responding to the player base's concerns helps build my own confidence as a future software developer. Because I'm playing the part of the client, it provides the unique experience of seeing how a software developer can misinterpret a design specification, how a client can feel if things go wrong, and that I shouldn't be afraid of making a mistake as long as I learn to get things right most of the time. So I definitely look at Yoshida as a role model for a successful developer. I feel wiser for staying around and watching him work out solutions.
That and I find things I enjoy about his game. Too many to mention. There are also things I don't like about his game that I complain about all the time because I'm a terrible human being who wants the entire game for himself. So in that way I'm like everyone else.

If I was Yoshi reading all of the post, I'd be depressed by how much hate there is, in and out of the game (Forum)Yoshida actually listening to player concerns. It interests me as a computer science major because watching a professional deal with the difficulties involved in listening and responding to the player base's concerns helps build my own confidence as a future software developer.
Really, it comes down to find what you like and stick with it.
I am a leveler foremost, so since all of my classes are capped, It's hard to wait for a next one.
Same with taking my time to get into T6-7-8-9 (and finding peeps that can clear it ^^ ) - once you know the mechanics of a fight, been there done that, to repeat it over and over gets boring for me.
So I take my sweet time, getting now into gardering (must have that Onion GRRR! for my Royal Blue Chocobo) and working on desynth to get my supra weapons and crafting iLvl90 stuff one day.
So much to do, so limited time >.<
I am still on the lookout of other games as I love animations!!, so I beta test them.
So far, for me, FFXIV graphics, even if they are not to the best that they can, is my new standard.
and no other new MMOs are as close to it, so it's very hard to let go
Can't wait for Bless Online to live up to my expectations! And I'll dig into Everquest Next of course.
In the meantime, super Hyped for Ninjaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! *poof*

:O that's me! So totally me! I have gotten a bit better at it, though, and can force myself to stop searching for that elusive loot or card or whatnot and actually kill that last boss XD (Though for me it's IX and XII that have been put on hold for now... the former because I messed up in a side quest and couldn't bring myself to start all over from the start right then and because my disc IV is missing. and the latter because I really disliked the streamlined A-to-B gameplay in the first 70% of the game ^^; )
I grew up on the original Dragon Quest so I like me a good grind, as long as I have some good tunes playing while I'm doing it. I eagerly await the day I can complete my Novus, hopefully in a couple of weeks.
That plus friends, glamour fun and upcoming patches and expansions keeps me logging in.
I like the atmosphere of the game^^Eorzea is a nice place
The nice people ive meet so far in game.
The battle systems suits me , i like it how it works atm , and i hope it dosnt change^^
Ive played Everquest 2 for 5 years , ive quit playing it after they added an ingame shop.
(+this game had monthly fees)
Since this time , ive tryed many different MMOS , but all feeled kinda dull and boring.
Since ive quit EQ2 , FFIV ARR is the first MMO that ive played longer then 1 month^^
Yoshi did a good job![]()
