When I (and others) have suggested adding voice overs, the response has been a resounding "learn to read", "final fantasy games are intellectual", "this isn't some derpy WoW game".

The same thing with jump, really.

So it's just really funny (from my perspective) when the same community has a positive reaction to Yoshi when he uses the word derp and so on (not that he specifically used it, as it so turns out).

(Well I amused myself at least... maybe you had to be there)
Maybe it's just their reaction to you in general. To me, it's like "Damn, that rash is back again"...
