Yeap, all in one go. Though I don't remember how many feather messages was that, I usually just wing it.

So after fiddling around Kobold browns, deepwood greens and ink blues, I finally got soot black! ^^
I fed 2 pineapples from ink blue to get soot black, but I think the results may vary, since when it was Kobold brown the first time round I fed it only 1 plum, but it turned into Deepwood green, instead of soot black like it was speculated to. (Ended up I did alot of tinkering around with the darker colors to trial and error)

did you get 2 feather changing messages? one for each fruit? So after fiddling around Kobold browns, deepwood greens and ink blues, I finally got soot black! ^^

edit: also what were your stable conditions?

Yeah, I got 2 feather messages (1 for each fruit) , which was weird cause supposedly 1 fruit with 1 message should suffice, but seeing my result with kobold brown I tried to do something different.
Stable condition was good

How many "beginning to grow new feathers" did you get from those x2 Pineapples? Both messages popped for both Pineapples? Or it ONLY popped on the second Pineapple? Also, has anyone attempted x2 Doman Plums on Kobold Brown yet? Maybe work the same way if you factor in the +5/-5 mathematical theory with the older RGB values. So after fiddling around Kobold browns, deepwood greens and ink blues, I finally got soot black! ^^

If we assume the exact color values of our chocobo don't get rounded by the game, I did Kobold Brown +1 plum message -> Ink Blue +1 plum message -> Deepwood green, so it's technically 2 from Kobold Brown. It took 6 plums to get one message at the second feeding. How many "beginning to grow did you get from those x2 Pineapples? Both messages popped for both Pineapples? I did the same thing as you, but he came out Cactuar Green! D:
How can I salvage this into Mole Brown, lol!? Use Valfruits?
Looking at this chart, it seems the green value went way out of control for some reason... even though I used the same amount of fruits as you did... strange.
