Been trying for black. This is as close to black as I'm gonna get without actually getting black. So far I've gone from Aldgoat Brown > Abyssal Blue > Midnight Blue > Ink Blue. I think maybe if I up my red a bit I may end up with Soot Black but I'm not sure If I want to this point.

Did you keep a rolling count of what fruits you fed to get to ink blue?

I cant say what exactly I feed, I feed lots of fruit and combination. I first had a brown chocobo, 2nd time a dark green, 3rd a dark purple and now this one.

also anyone know how to tell when your chocobo is done? because there's a possibility choco feed could lower time at least i can hope.

I used 15 O'Ghomoro Berries, 8 Xelphatol Apple, and 8 Mamook Pear. I got "Lilac Purple." Trying for rolanberry and wanted to see what half of what was recorded would be.

15 / 5 / 5 got the same result. Lilac Purple. I fed another 2 / 2 / 2 after that before I went to sleep -> I'll be checking my Chocobo @ Lunch to see the result.

My Goal is Soot Black, I think @ Lilac Purple most of the RGB Values are likely close to each other since it seems fairly dark, now I need to keep an even spread of fruits and see what I get.

Oh nice, so I'm thinking of giving mine 2 more apples and 2 valfruit to suck out the green. At work, but glad the weekend is here for experiments.

I fed mine in two sessions, but I'd imagine you could do it all in one shot and get the same result. Here's what I did:

• O'Gho Berry x 5 >> Ul Brown
• Doman Plum x8, O'Gho Berry x6

And I pretty much landed on the exact colour I wanted! Here it is, Sky Blue:
