When I read the title "The Sultana's Seven" it reminded me in a way Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai, exactly 7 individuals(Papashan, Pipin and the 5 Thraumaturges) protecting Nanamo from the chaos of the Calamity. It was courageous of her to face the riot and bring them back to their senses and also that she still has followers. people not moved by the machinations of the Monetarist. Nanamo can be a great leader and it will be interesting to see if they develop more of her character in the oncoming patches. Its a speculation of mine that U'ldah will suffer a civil war once Teledji obtains the Omega Weapon and Nanamo's leadership will be tested once again.

This part caught my attention a little.

In that instant, Nanamo felt the presence of the divine. Even as she basked in the sensation, a familiar voice echoed in her mind. "Let Eorzea be born anew," it said. Louisoix, she thought, and knew no more.

That Louisoix would say this when his goal was actually to imprison Bahamut once more strikes me as odd. I wonder if it might have something to do with his last-ditch effort to save the realm by doing whatever it was that caused himself and Bahamut to disappear.

Both leaders so far have been unconscious through the last seconds of the Calamity as well and I'm wondering if we might see a pattern there in the remaining three accounts.

The fact that Nanamo asked Pipin to "lend me your back" makes me think he lifted her up, like Raubahn always does, which makes me think that Pipin is a Hyur, and NOT a Lalafell.

Name trend follows Lalafell. Also Papashan = Lalafell, the 5 Thaumaturge = Lalafell, then Pipin being a Lalafell means it was 8 Lalafell, so cute yet destructive.
