My current test is at Orthard Blue, I gave him 6 plum and then 1 pear and then 1 more plum and I got the feather message and stopped feeding at that point.

Based on how I think the system works, I should get Raptor Blue. It's possible that the 1 pear wasn't needed. After the 6 hours, I'm going to try and revert back to Orthard Blue and record my changes.

abyssal + mamook pear = royal blue. Feeding Bucephalus an apple to see if I can repeat my data to make it abyssal again.

I decided to shoot for Sunset Orange as well based off the info here. My chocobo was Apple Green when I started. I fed it a Hans Lemon and then fed it apples
Fed 17 apples. Message of feathers 16 times
Stable conditions- good
weather- overcast

I got pumpkin Orange which is close to sunset orange. How do I get sunset Orange from here? lol

I can confirm the Pumpkin Orange to Sunset Orange with one new feather message from apples, and also the Sunset Orange to Blood Red with one from apples.

I will be continuing on feeding apples until one "new feathers" message appears. Hopefully I'll hit Dalamud Red next, and then maybe Rust or Wine Red.
Just waiting on my apple plant which should be finished soon.

Any suggestions on taking my choco from bone white to snow white? Here is the RGB difference:

Bone White

G208
B154

What I want:
Snow White
R226
G221
B205

From what I can tell, I need to decrease red a bit, increase green a bit and increase blue a fair bit. What do people think of the following:

3 Doman Plum
3 Cieldales Pineapple
3 Valfruit

but are the opposite fruits the same color - such as darken red / lighten red or is it something else - can't remember the opposites as far as the color wheel goes of the top of my head right now

I'm referring to lighten/deepen here. I haven't tried much with the "opposite" colors as far as the color spectrum is concerned.

Ok I have found several posts of people getting Calibri pink with plums and valfruit - so I am trying my luck out as well - here is the log copy, time stamps are included - 7 Doman Plums with 4 procs & 8 Valfruit with 8 procs. Will post results in the morning.

ATM, we have no idea what that means in term of color scale changes, as it is quite possible ALL the procs message were just for one color change with all the fruit feeding, or that within those 12 procs, you might have jump to another color scale and making the RGB changes there. Truth of the matter is, this approach is uncontrolled.

I'm starting to believe you should just feed until you get the feather message and quit until next session. That's what I'm doing anyway.

That's fourth down on my list of alterations to this experiment I'm running. Right now I'm trying to duplicate the color I got minus one step. Then I'm going to reset my bird and slow down on feeding it fruit to see if I can get the message about growing new feathers with fewer fruit fed, as there is a chance that perhaps birds are being fed one fruit after another, too quickly. When I'm done with that, provided I can get to Snow White with these duplicate experiments, I'm going to try and rush to Snow White in one feeding session.

Working on Soot Black Experiment

Desert Yellow --> Plum Purple
1st session : 22 Berries

Plum Purple -->Chocolate Brown
2nd session : 8 Apples then 7 Pears (Update in 6 hours)

??? --> ???
3rd session : 1 Berry



I know someone got Soot Black but they not 100% how they got it so i be taking screenshot and reporting back every 6hours.
