not really interests me since I haven't gotten pass Atma due to the RNG God never favors me.

However, good for players who spend the masochist grind that is required to work their way up to that point.

Farm a new kind of Soil from a 3 star unspoiled mining node, use it to plant seeds from a new 3 star unspoiled bush (giggle), spend 10 days waiting for it to grow in your Personal Housing garden (because FC mates will steal it) (with Fertilizer). Take these and a Ceruleum Infused Crystal Bottle (1500 Allied Seals) to our Alchemist friend in North shroud to get a special ink that our friend in Central Thanalan can make a scroll with. Now kill every S Rank Hunt to get their Supra-Atmas (don't worry, these will at least be 100% drop rate) and trade Mutamix 5 Mastercraft Materias and he will infuse them all onto your Grindus Scroll. Skin change and +5 ilvl. Congrats!!!

And it's still technically an upgrade because Limit Breaks will be more powerful from the ilvl boost.

Too soon? 2.4 will bring the new and last coil with new gear, making High Allagan the new "i90 vs i110" situation. Making relic i115 or 120 would mean new coil gear would be i130 and weapon i135 if they follow their item level schemes from previous coils. And like I said, this would happen in 2.4 which is "sooner than we expect" and we're getting 2.38 in around 1 month, then comes 2.4.

Yeha, REALLY? Having another weapon match t9 weapons for THREE WHOLE WEEKS?! The nerve!

And only would be for players that:

1. Have their Novus completed pre 2.38
2. Finish the new Novus quests offered in 2.38 before 2.4 arrives

....so really, not THAT many people....heck, it might even be less people than those currently sporting the High Allagan weapons.

Also, they never said that the ilvl would be raised...so there's still that.

I take way more pride in my Novus then my HA weapon. Make them i120 for 2.38.

A few weeks later coil3 will be out, shiva will be dropping i120+ weapons and nobody will care.

Between 2.38 and 2.4 the butthurt will be fun to watch.

I'm sure it's the feature that will allow us to modify the already melded stats on the novus weapon, or the preparation for the next update, like the atma.
