Has anybody got a link to this spreadsheet that I have seen mentioned? This thread has about 50 new pages since the last time I checked it and I haven't got time to check them all
Congrats on your Chocobo's guys, they look great.

Everyone needs to stop using this... it doesn't give the same results... a new spreadsheet needs to be created with the correct data.
(gets frustrated that people keep giving out bad info)

Counting food is easy and many thought this was the only important info. Now, the thought that all a person needs to get a certain color is the right number of certain fruits is like a fast moving train that can't be stopped... :/
Problem is that some of the resources aren't as useful as they once were. It's not just using the right food count...It would be nice if we could get the OP to update the original post with some links to some of the resources available and keep the original post updated as we progress.
I'm also tempted to start a new thread myself to set up more organized experimentation. Would anyone be interested if I did that?
He asked I gave. Even though there have been some differences in results it could still get him to the colour he wants or at least close to it. At this point it's better than nothing for some of us.

So after two feeding sessions im more confused then anything. First I fed 8 Mamook Pears, resulting in a single feather message. The result ended up as Cream Yellow, which is a lighter color then Desert Yellow. Seemingly opposite of what the pears should do.
Second go around I fed it 12 more Mamook Pears, with only a single feather message. This resulted in Lime Green, which is pulling all the values down below what they were to begin with. This is what I thought the pears would do initially.
For the sake of science i'm going to keep repeatedly feeding Mamook Pears till I stop getting messages/no color changes from a single fruit type to see if that can be ruled out. But my results so far make very little sense, considering the 'Darkens Green' fruit resulted in both a lighter and darker shade in two seperate sessions.
Read the fruit(s) description again.
Like a lot of people, you're mistaking "deepen" for "darken", which are absolutly not the same thing.
In this context, "deepen" means "reinforce", while "lighten" means "weaken".
So, feeding your chocobo with more and more pears should make it more and more green.
