Fed my Chocobo 10 O'Ghomoro Berries and got Shale Brown.

The feather msg finally stopped for me feeding my royal blue more berries.. not sure what I'll get in an hour. I assume I can only go lighter now or a different color. I'm guessing he'll be the darkest blue possible?

I went to the university of texas so I might go for a burnt orange!

FC friend got Regal purple from 25 Apples, 25 Berries and 25 Pears (all 3 deepen fruits).

Alright, so sadly, I have another update. I say sadly because I failed to get from Loam Brown -> Black after my latest attempt, however, for people that prefer this muck of a color I discovered, here is Hunter Green. I have no idea where to go from here to get to black.

EDIT: Had a slight typo on the original image. Changed x15 Mamook Pears ---> x25 Mamook Pears.

Thats the color im going for! In a few hours Ill be up to about 22 total pears. I'm thinking I can get to hunter green from subtracting red/blue as well.

Thanks to everyone who has posted info and screenshots in this thread!

I've been able to update my FFXIV Chocobo Resource document with every color that has had a screenshot posted in this thread, as well as a few that were on reddit:

If people want to help me out in the future for the colors I'm missing, the optimal screenshot I'm looking for is A cropped image of just the chocobo with no barding taken during the daytime out in the field (not in the stables) with the companion window open next to it showing the color. Just today I was able to get an image of over half of the possible colors, so hopefully in the next few days we as a community can get screenshots of the rest!

And once the exact mechanics are figured out for the color system and how each feed affects the chocobo, I'll be updating each color with how to obtain that desired color.

I fed mine 1 valfruit - no change after 6 hours.
Next fed 1 o'ghomoro berry - also no change after 6 hours. Desert yellow still!

When my fruits are ready I'll start with the big feedings I guess....

First 6 hours: 1 red+, 2 blue+
Second 6 hours: 10 Green- , 2 blue +
