JP servers up, NA/EU servers not (hardware issues)

Why do we have hardware issues?

That is something I don't get, what kind of hardware you running our servers on.

I can see why NA's tech area is over populated with problems now.

We all pay for equal service, though our servers are down till 4:am and they are done at 2.30 am and get to play on top of that.

I mean its a minor issue but making everyone happy should be number one thing.

We pay also, You know if this happened in FFXI I would of been pissed due to NM pop timers.

Stuff breaks.

Sometimes other people stuff breaks and you dont care, sometimes your stuff breaks and people act as if it was some kind of conspiracy to destroy their lives.

I see what you are saying but the yhad been working before the maintenace but after they suddenly have issue's? So my question would be what did they break or do wrong so that the issue is now present? Are they not monitoring the servers everyday every hour?

Uh, yeah, that's how they know they're broken. If they weren't monitoring them, they would just say "All's good, go play!" even if there were problems.

I assume at your work nothing ever goes wrong? :P The universe is a complex thing, there are hiccups all the time. Patience and understanding are virtues we should use when one of those hiccups effects us, because we would want others to display them when we're the ones causing hiccups.

Even if things can go wrong that doesn't mean we should always expect them too. It's normal for most ppl to expect things to work as intended. Things come up sure but plz don't wish them to. Try to be more positive. You will be alot happier that way. I work in a communications center myself with outages and cutovers and when we do a new implementation my team certainly don't expect all things to go to hell. We plan, prioritize and expect it to work. It not then we do damage control.. But we don't just expect it to go like crap.

I don't know what kind of machines you work with, if some at all.
But computers don't fix themselves no matter how much money you throw at them and sometimes stuff breaks or something went wrong.

And the fact that JP servers are not down has nothing to do with it. They are on the other side of the planet. You want the jp team to not put their servers back online cause of 'fairness" to do the NA/EU crowd or something?
