Better yet, leave La Noscean topsoil as is, and add a 2-star (gathering 408) tier Coerthas topsoil which accelerates growth rate.
As of right now, there is no incentive to have 408 gathering as miner, but there is for botanist. I see this as such an incentive.

Mirror Apple + Thavnairian Onion = Curiel Root OR Sun Lemon
This is a pretty useful discovery. If you're crossbreeding for Thav Onions seeds, Curiel Root is the most profitable non-onion choco feed (at least on my server).
Pearl Roselle + King Tomato = Shroud Tea
Hi! New gardener here. I'm currently fussing over my first intercross attempt (of course i'm working for the now clichéd Glazenut lol).
I wonder if you guys could offer some advice. While I realise that there are a lot of guides out there now, the vast quantity of them, as well as how different some of them are, I'm a little lost.
Currently i have:
H = Honey Lemon, P = Prickly, X = Scarecrow (all grade 3 thanlan planted)
H P H
P X P
H P H
I started on the top left Honey, and worked my way right, down, left to H, and finally up to the P just below my first planted H.
Now these are a day or so (hopefully less, i've been fertilising like crazy!), away from harvest, and i'm starting to get confused as to what i'm supposed to do next. As far as I've researched, this should yield Apricot Kernel. I've got another 8 thanlan soils waiting, but i also have 10 honey lemon seeds, and 10 prickly pineapple seeds waiting in my inventory just in case something goes wrong.
So, what comes next? Oh, and also, when they are ready to harvest, and i'm moving onto the next part needed, do i harvest and pull ALL of the original plants posted above, and completely replant the next part? It didn't seem very clear on the guides i've seen (i kind of assumed remove the honey lemon only and plant in there lol!)
Any help you can give will be much appreciated!
Just harvested a Mandragora Queen plant and got an Eggplant knight seed back!
Unfortunately I cannot see what was planted next to it as the log is flooded with people fertalising/tending the plants (and due to the longer time it took to grow the Mandragora Queen to whatever was planted next to it) but I have a feeling one of them was an onion knight
Could lead to some interesting loops!

That all depends on what you had planned as your next step.
Fully grown plants can be used to intercross, so if you would harvest only one of the plants and replace them with new seeds those seeds can intercross with the other plant.
Honey Lemon x Apricot and Prickly Pineapple x Apricot both give Royal Kukuru.
So it doesn't matter which one you replace with Apricots, you'll get Royal Kukuru Seeds.
Just remember that fully grown plants can wither, so don't forget to harvest them afterwards.
There is a plan for a self-sustainable Glazenut loop buried somewhere in here in this thread but.... I can't seem to find it.
A full plot of Glazenuts + Pixie Plums will usually produce 8 apricot seeds max from Thanalan intercrossing. Likewize, Glazenuts + apricots = 8 glazenut seeds. By alternating, you can keep getting more and more glazenuts, approx. 4 a week.
If you run out of apricot seeds, just do the first plot an extra week.
I would like to confirm that these combinations could produce Thavnarian Onion seeds
Curiel Root + Glazenuts
Sylkis Bud + Glazenuts
Mimett Gourd + Glazenuts
Tantal Plant + Glazenuts
Pahsana + Glazenuts
I also think that Glazenuts have the highest chance of producing Thavnarian Onion seeds assuming always using Grade 3 Thanalan Soil, although I think my sample size is pretty small.
Anyone know the yield from Thavnairian Onion Seeds once harvested?
