Fertilizing only affects grow time as far as I know. I believe the yield and crosses you get are decided the second you plant the seed.

Has anyone posted that mandrake makes all minions?
You can do mandrake + tomato = King Tomato
Mandrake + onion (not thav onion) = Onion Knight (alternate harvest popoto set)
Mandrake + garlic = Garlic Jester
Mandrake + wizard eggplant = Eggplant Knight (alternate harvest dzemael tomato seeds)
Mandrake + lily = Queen Mandragora
You can also get an alternate from each of those, but I get the minion seed at least once if I do mandrake onion mandrake garlic mandrake eggplant mandrake tomato. The only one that doesn't always give me at least one minion is the king tomato as I plant that last. I am going to try a different soil on the tomato next time, but I use than 3 on seed 2-8 usually.I do not regularly grow the queen as I use my lily elsewhere, but the other 4 minion seeds take only a few days to grow this way and sell for more then I can buy glazenut seeds.
Edit: I will do a Mandrake minion Mandrake minion etc cycle to see if they can produce their own seeds, but not for a week or two.

I got Honey Lemon seeds from a Thavnarian Onion crossed with an existing Apricot but please don't quote me...

I wish they would do stickies on posts like yours.

Hmmm, nice idea to keep in mind when my second garden is free again (Thav onions take too long. I'll have a second batch before the first ones finish growing xD)Has anyone posted that mandrake makes all minions?

So far my experience has been that any minion + krakka roots (and some other stuff) produces eggplant knights. So if you would plant four minions with krakka roots in between them you'll probably get a nice supply of eggplant knights, and then you can replace the krakka's with something else for a second crossbreed.Code:mnd tom mnd something like this maybe gar x on eggplant knights won't be to hard to get afterwards mnd lil mnd
I'm interested in knowing the alternate seeds you can get from each one.You can also get an alternate from each of those, but I get the minion seed at least once if I do mandrake onion mandrake garlic mandrake eggplant mandrake tomato.

As for Mandrake + minion crosses, it's been reported that crossing mandrake with at least knight, jester, and king gave Pearl Roselles. As far as I know, mandrake+minion is the only way to get Pearl Roselles.
And Pearl Roselles sound like they're a top-tier like jute, glazenut, broombush, etc., so I'm curious to know what happens when you cross them with Krakkas and the stuff you can loop other top-tiers with because of the impressions I posted about before.
The only cross I have seen reported is Thav.Onion + Roselle = King Tomato.
And then an uncertain report between Roselle and either Mandrake or Eggplant Knight making Jute. My guess is that it was the Roselle + Mandrake.
My guess then is that Roselle + Almond would make Broombush, and Roselle + Krakka would either make a (I can dream) Thav.Onion, or a minion.
I crossed 8x Broom with 8x curiel
the Broom is still growing, but the curiel gave me 7x shroud leafes and 1x thav onion

I'm behind on some intercross reporting, but I still remembered to take screenshots.
Mandrake + Thavnairian Onion = Mimett Gourd OR Onion Prince
Eggplant Knight + Thavnairian Onion = Eggplant Knight (yay for minion loop?)
Flax + Thavnairian Onion = Pahsana Fruit OR Flax
Unfortunately, I have not been properly recording what I originally planted the Thav Onions next to. They take so long to grow that I've forgotten. :/
So at this point I'm pretty sure we can conclude that Thavnairian Onions have no loop. Side note: if SE would like to make La Noscean Topsoil worth anything they should change it so it makes the plants grow faster, rather than give more HQ.
