And Magic Carpet is Sagolii Desert, not Dunes. Check where it says you're casting when you're fishing because the two places are easy to mix up. I've caught it and it is definitely Desert, not Dunes.

I stand super corrected, Thanks Espritduo. yea it is Desert. . but yea my gathering was 355. so i feel like 348 is probably the real number...but thats just a guess.

Was able to catch Discobolus with 354 gathering, also happened to notice on the first page the bait is bolded not the fish for this entry.

Edit: I figured I would mention this aswell, went 350 gather 130 perception to The Matriarch. She gave me 3 bites before I had to leave so not much of a sample but 0/3 for that.

What's the deal with Floating Boulder? I've gone probably 10 windows in Clear, Fog, Overcast and still not had a nibble with Bass Ball. A friend did get one in Fog, but I'm starting to think there is a better bait out there...

I have never seen a straight catch legendary fish that could be caught with more than one type of bait. I would just say that you are having a string of bad luck. With the Warden's Wand, I fished it maybe 6 times a day for over 4 weeks with a grand total of four nibbles, and a catch on the last one.

And with that Wand, I caught it first cast today. Damn RNG is a beast.

I figured out why I wasn't getting any bites on the bream....I was using KRILL feeder instead of SHRIMP feeder　(╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
The icons look the same argh! I've started a suggestion thread about fishing bait icons, if you guys agree please hit the like button so it can get some attention!

Sylphsbane is 348+ (same as Olgoi) imo; I caught several yesterday at 357 gathering.

Hmm, does anyone know if the Big Fish have arbitrary gathering requirements set per fish, or if there are set tiers of fish? Like, Frilled Shark and Aetherlouse are the same tier, both requiring 383 Gathering, and Shark Tuna and Twitchbeard are also the same tier which requires only 348 gathering? If that's true, it'll be much easier to figure out the hard gathering requirements.
