So because you don't watch videos other players are forced to teach you all the mechanics they learned from videos or carry your dead body to victoryI didn't say dodging was bad, I said relying on it constantly for everything makes the game easy because dodging =/= hard. It doesn't and all you keep saying is "Coil, coil, coil" There's dodging in coil and lets just for arguments sake say there's no dodging in coil. That ONE dungeon does not make up for the ENTIRE game. Just because YOU think there's no dodge in coil doesn't mean that there's no dodge in the rest of the game lol. Which goes back to when I asked can you bring up something other than coil? Which you've proven time and time again you can't. One dungeon does not make the game. *shrugs* Also you threw out no examples by the way, you've just been screaming and vomiting about coil.....for the last few pages.
Lol Why are you trying to personally attack me now? How childish are you? You don't have to agree but really? I've cleared the extreme mode primals and I've done mog and levi. Also I don't watch videos, I go into everything blind because I feel videos are for baddies. Never played a mmo before where you must watch videos before entering dungeons. Anyone can just throw around blind ASSumptions when they feel they are losing or have nothing to say other than " I CIOL 50 BRUH" Lol I love how you know nothing about me, yet you know everything I've done in game. ._. GG
No, it's a shame that some people can't be bothered to learn them before joining a group and have to be taught the mechanics at the expense of someone else's time. This isn't a single player game, this is an MMO designed so that fight mechanics can't be learned in a standard amount of time vs other types of games for the sake of longevity. The reason all the fights are scripted is because the information is meant to be shared via interwebs for everyone to learn. They just don't want people clearing new instances the day they get implemented
Man I forgot we were all working instead of playing a video game.
Peoples concept of the value of time is so wonky these days.
Yeah I consider explaining fight mechanics to the fortieth random person I get grouped up with to be work. Stop being lazy and look it up yourself instead of having everything handed to you by more determined players.
this is so backwards. if the mechanics were something you could actually grasp during a battle or were included in some earlier content for preparation it wouldn't be such a hassle. but they're overly obscure and encounter-specific, so your experience in other stuff doesn't help you when those one shot mechanics come after your ass.
Exactly my point on why you should watch videos/read about the mechanics beforehandthis is so backwards. if the mechanics were something you could actually grasp during a battle or were included in some earlier content for preparation it wouldn't be such a hassle. but they're overly obscure and encounter-specific, so your experience in other stuff doesn't help you when those one shot mechanics come after your ass.
I agree that it's bad design, but you're wrong about the prep. Watching videos/reading a guide is a very direct counter and does much to alleviate issues. Knowing the gimmick mechanics doesn't make the fights any less fun or interesting, if anything it makes them less terrible.
well this has deviated very quickly into a video necessary not necessary yada yada.....we were talking about how we felt about the direction the game, Oh I forgot lets talk about that once again.![]()
