My party is entitled because we found it and we claimed it. Come and join in if you want but reset that mob and I'm going to report you. Nothing selfish about that.

If you are happy to wait for half the server to arrive and zerg it down then more power to you. I find that extremely boring and prefer to fight a mob on a bit more of a challenging level.
